I. Starting from 27 July 2020, China-bound foreign passengers departing from The Bahamas by transferring via certain countries (updated in the link https://hr.cs.mfa.gov.cn/help_two/help-two/gj.html) must apply for Health Declaration Forms after receiving COVID-19 negative certificates. All Airlines of the above-mentioned countries will check the Health Declaration Forms of relevant passengers during check-in or before boarding.
i. Testing Time and Institutions
The nucleic acid tests for COVID-19 must be taken within three days before final connecting flight to China. Tests should be taken at the Doctor's Hospital.

ii. Application for Health Declaration Forms
Foreign passengers must send their scanned copies (Photos are NOT accepted) of passport, COVID-19 negative certificates and signed Health Declaration Form (see attachment) to consulate_bhs@mfa.gov.cn and copy the same email to shinebahamas@gmail.com. To facilitate expedited process of your application, please include "HD - Name of Applicant - Time/Country of Connecting Flight to China" in the title of the email ( For example, "HD - Mary Rose - 20200926 - Canada").
The Embassy will send back a scanned copy of Health Declaration Form with an official stamp to the passengers by email. All passengers are required to board with a copy of printed Health Declaration Forms within the validity period and cooperate with airlines for further checking.
II. Other reminders
i. Foreign passengers to China are required to carefully read the notice. Those who can't duly receive COVID-19 negative certificates and obtain valid Health Declaration Forms won't be allowed to board and have to adjust their itineraries.
ii. Foreign passengers ultimately bound for China should make sure that the Health Declaration Forms are within the validity period when boarding the connecting flights to avoid being stranded at the airport.
