Ambassador Dai Qingli attends ribbon-cutting for the Pointe

Ambassador Dai Qingli was pleased and honoured to join the Most Honorable Prime Minister Dr. Hubert Minnis, The Honorable Deputy Prime Minister Desmond Bannistether, Mr. Yuan Ning, Chairman of China Construction America, and Mr. Daniel Liu, President of The Pointe in a ribbon cutting ceremony for the opening of The Pointe.

In her remarks, ambassador Dai said, The Pointe is much more than a new tourist resort for The Bahamas. It is shaping up to be a major boost to the regeneration of downtown Nassau, and it is yet another flagship project of win-win cooperation between China and The Bahamas.

She is particularly glad that the Pointe will add over 400 permanent jobs for the local people, which will positively impact 400 families across the country.

Mr. Yuan Ning said CCA has been building, developing and investing in The Bahamas for more than 10 years. THE POINTE demonstrates CCA’s commitment to the Bahamas. The development team looks forward to creating more permanent jobs for the Bahamians and continue to stimulate new business activities in this country’s capital.

After the ribbon-cutting, they made a tour of hotel lobby, ballroom, meeting room, Graycliff sky bar, waterpark, marina, condo garden and condo lobby of the project.
