Ambassador Dai Qingli was deeply honoured to pay a courtesy call on the Honourable Prime Minister Philip Davis at Cabinet Office on 16 November, 2021.

As she underscored, the Chinese government has always attached importance to the development of China-Bahamas relationship. Since the establishment of diplomatic ties in 1997, the two countries have enjoyed growing mutual trust, fruitful cooperation and increasing people to people exchanges. China highly appreciates Bahamas’ consistent position to the one-China policy and we’re happy to see that the Hon. Prime Minister reiterated this position.

The two sides also talked about strengthening exchanges at various levels and developing practical cooperation in wide-ranging areas.

It was a warm and friendly meeting, a great start to our relationship in the new day.
