On 11 December 2025, Her Excellency Yan Jiarong, Chinese Ambassador to The Bahamas, met with members of the Bahamas China Friendship Association (BCFA).

Ambassador Yan commended BCFA for its long-standing commitment to promoting friendship with China. Both sides reviewed a series of joint activities held over the past year, and agreed that greater efforts should be made to tap into cultural and people-to-people exchanges in the coming year, making new contributions to enhancing the friendship and well-being of the two peoples.
